Founded in 2021 with the support of the Hawai‘i Community Foundation, Puna Rising Ohana exists to strengthen the fabric of our community. We serve as a 21st century commons, a space where the people of Puna come together to share knowledge, support one another, and build a future rooted in collaboration, culture, and local resilience.

Our mission is to connect, inform, and inspire the people of Puna to work together, identify markets for their goods and services, explore new opportunities, and build a stronger community ethos.
