Eclipse Season: Be A Revolutionary in Your Own Life
Coming out of March we see surprising events, such as the first time in United States history, a former President is Indited on criminal charges. Donald Trump becomes a dynamic challenge to the Nations’ Democratic underpinning. Power, Intelligence, Truth, Justice, Freedom of Speech are all qualities which are ideals of the American Constitution. The quest is to see these sort out in the best way for the evolution of society at this turning point.
The Aries Ingress two weeks ago stimulated the collective response to the deep emotional urges of people to feel free. Pluto’s entrance into Aquarius marks the emergence of a new wave of revolutionary human empowerment. Mars, planet of action and self-drive held a position in relationship to Pluto last week, end of March, which contained all the planets between them within an aspect that suggested adjustment, compromise, or meet destruction.
Mercury, planet of information, commerce, communication, decisions, and negotiation, has been in the metaphorical conference room with the Sun, in this phase of its cycle. While they together passed the path of Neptune, who can represent secret agents of deception, the Bank Crisis of Credit Suisse got a soft landing. This does not mean the Banks are going to be “steady-on”. There is surely more to come on the financial shifts that are coming.
This gets us all considering the structural securities in our personal lives. As we really accept the idea that we must build up our own resources, including local community and family allies. The first week of April has Mercury shift into preparedness thinking. Whether it is a weather or earth event, or the challenge to regional banks, finding our nearest friends to share information and resources becomes a topic, as we come to the Full Moon in Libra, on April 5. This Lunation will stimulate romantic encounters and even growing friendships of people who are learning to bridge differences. The Sun Jupiter conjunction supports inclusiveness and a cooperative sense of collaboration.
These historical pieces of the current Astro-weather, suggest the trend of April to be full of surprising public health and political disclosures, charging up general polarized tension in the air. People may take a strong stand on their personal views as Mercury enters Taurus, the Fixed sign of Values and almost joins revolutionary Uranus after the Solar Hybrid Eclipse on April 19 at 6:12 pm, in Hawaii.
The Eclipse in a very tight challenging aspect to Pluto suggests something of a major power struggle. The end degrees of signs suggest eminent changes. Pluto can be the transformative power to stretch to new forms and ways of expressing, becoming larger in ourselves. Eclipse season can spark positive changes and turning points in our personal lives.
On April 20, Mercury stations Retrograde before it makes conjunction to Uranus, a combo that stimulates problem solving, and ideas that can lead to resolutions. This aspect will complete on June 6 when Mercury is direct again. But, at this time something is suppressed or withheld that may have importance for the world-at-large and, perhaps, important to the structure to the planet.
Again, Mercury represents information, ideas, and negotiations. Considering the build-up of powers concerning the Ukraine War, it is simple to consider the multinational challenges of power that might take the world to the brink…and back, through some reconciliations that come about with Jupiter entering Taurus on May 18 and squaring Pluto, with Mars also coming to oppose Pluto.
This is a tense and volatile combination of energies. It can bring out heroism, or terrorism. I will revisit this tense alignment of planets next month. For now, we can use April’s energy to be proactive, relationship building, and intentionally prepping for any possible disruptions to supply chain shortages, financial currency challenges, and protecting personal basic needs, like clean water.
At the recent event, The Resource Hub that Space put on, John Olson, Puna’s long-time advocate for getting improvements from the County resources for Pahoa and Puna District, spoke and told the group how much their voices and minds are needed in paying attention to local level government. I repeat his- suggestion here at this time, when few people show up to County Council meetings, or even local School Board meetings.
It is more important than ever to create and hold a vision of our future. Important to be participating in the growth, and improvement of our island community, and not lose local control.
Be Positive and keep your Vision on the Future, not the Past.
