We are thrilled to introduce a visionary concept to create a multipurpose community space that could find a home in the old Malama Market as a dynamic center for collaboration, creativity, and resilience. This innovative space aims to address the diverse needs and aspirations of Puna, providing shared opportunities for creative expression, skill development, entrepreneurship, and building a crisis center to deal with natural catastrophes. By combining shared working spaces, a makery, workshops, theatrical performances, artisan goods sales, an entrepreneur hub, a commercial kitchen, a market for locally grown produce, and a resilience hub, this multipurpose space will become the heart of community engagement and growth.
