Stars Over Puna—November 2026 Forecast
A Month of Shifting Power and Changing Plans
The Transpersonal Energies of Societal shifts are the background themes enlivening events at the end of 2026. Like the deep bass tones of the tides of Humanity’s growth and development, Pluto and Uranus are in a phase of their cycle that promotes a throb or pulse in the collective, generating an awakening to greater consciousness.
Pluto and Uranus are always part of the large shifts in awareness as society comes to accept greater concepts of ways of making the world a better place, sometimes through inventions, like electricity, and through a broader awakening to concepts such as Democracy and Equality.
Pluto, the planet of power and transformation, is coming to a 120-degree aspect with Uranus, the Awakener, on November 29. This phase of growth is productive, like a biological period in the growth cycle of a fruit tree when blossoms turn into fruit.
The Slow outer planets are the backbeat of the times we operate in. The secondary pulse, the actions, comes from the intermediary planets like Mars, Jupiter, and Saturn. These planets create the interactions that create governments operating as an entity of business. Saturn makes the rules or laws that nations agree to operate under. Jupiter is the realm of Justice, expansive growth factors in how Countries trade, create economies, and express ethical beliefs.
For the past several weeks, Mars has been traveling with Jupiter. Mars is hot, passionate, and forceful. Mars is the planet of war and aggression.
Jupiter has a more moderate and positive influence. The energy of any planet that engages with Jupiter is magnified. Together, their energies intensify. Through October, the Mars-Jupiter mixture has manifested in extreme weather events around the world.
We can see the effects in society by the way groups can identify with mass anger over shared issues, as in the protests in France and other European communities. Saturn is the police action in such situations, trying to suppress and control large crowds. Saturn is also the government body with the power to change the situations causing people to protest.
It is the Moon, Mercury, and Venus that give us the day-to-day qualities of interpersonal experiences.
Mercury and Venus Cycles
Mercury gives us communication, commerce, deals, and negotiations, all the faculties of analysis, reasoning, and debate. Mercury’s orbit is between the Earth and the Sun. From our perspective on Earth, Mercury’s path gives us two views of its cycle. It appears to conjunct the Sun, a point called Cazimi, meaning “in the heart,” twice. First, in its phase as an Evening Star, and again in the phase as Morning Star.
In this cycle of 88 days, Mercury appears to stop and turn back in its path, which we call retrograde, for 22 days. This is a visual effect due to the difference in speed between Mercury and Earth. Mercury has a direct orbit around the Sun. Mercury’s transition points are visible to us, and we can witness the influence in our experiences. We use these periods to review, reorganize, and analyze, and to improve where we can.
Venus follows the same type of transitions in its cycle, which is18 months between retrograde periods, or 224 days around the Sun.
Venus stationed retrograde on October 3. It makes its pass over the Sun, its Cazimi, on October 23, the same day that Mercury stations retrograde. This November will be a brief period when Mercury and Venus are both retrograde.
November 3 is the Midterm Election Day, and Mercury will be Cazimi, giving a unique emphasis to the event.

The New Moon is in Scorpio on November 8. This could be a tense period. Mars rules Scorpio and Aries. Mars is in Leo, the Sun’s sign. When planets are in each other’s signs, we call it mutual reception. It is like the planets are guests in each other’s homes. In some ways, they benefit each other. Mars is in a square to the Sun and Moon, which is not very welcoming or cooperative. You could say that Mars in Leo and joined with Jupiter might have the tendency to act out, stir up trouble, and act like one who expects to be honored, but is bad-tempered.
Mercury is in a square aspect to Pluto in Aquarius; this will likely bring out more secrets with potentially damaging results, linking the Sun, Jupiter, and Mars as they relate to people in high places who have wealth and influence and who will not be happy for the exposure.
The New Moon is in the 5th house of Children, the arts, and investments. Venus is in its own sign of Libra and is in conjunction with the fixed star Spica, one of the brightest stars; this star is associated with prosperity, honors, and fortunate events. It can contribute to an improvement around Women’s issues now that Venus is visible and rising as the morning star, like a warrior. It will be a brilliant sight for several weeks.
A positive turning point: November 14th
On November 14, Mercury and Venus will both station direct within a few hours of each other, marking a turning point in the month that will be noticeable in events. Business decisions will become clearer and easier.

This Full Moon is on November 24. This is a more dynamic lunation than the New Moon. We finally shift to a pattern where the Sun and Jupiter are in each other’s signs, a different type of mutual reception. Jupiter and the Sun are more familiar with the element of Fire, which can manifest as enthusiasm and positivity.
The rising sign for this lunation, set in Washington, DC, is Capricorn, ruled by Saturn in Aries. The Sun in Sagittarius is in the 11th house, which is the place ruling Congress.
The Moon, representing the people of the nation, is in Gemini, in conjunction with Uranus, the energy of Revolution. This symbolism is supported by Mars and Jupiter now being opposed to the USA Moon, in late Aquarius.
Thanksgiving, November 29
Mars enters Virgo. The shift of Mars out of Leo to Virgo offers a change in the tone of America’s presence on the world stage. The emphasis changes from war and destruction to strategy and trade agreements. This is an opportunity to shift how the world at large views America.
We could see people taking to the streets at the end of November, with the holiday spending period looking a bit more lean than last year. Americans are unhappy that nothing has been done to improve the cost of living.
Congress has been in extended recess because it is an election year. The hope for change is still to be determined by the midterm election. The new Representatives will hopefully be sworn in on January 3.
