The Executive Director of Puna Ola will be responsible for leading a team to complete the following:
- Formation of non-profit, 501c3 as the organizational entity within 6 months of project start
- Board of Directors identified within 6 months
- Overall budget defined with grants and investors committed
- Lessees qualified for participation within 6 months
- Appropriate funding to purchase or lease within 6 months of project start
- Secure lease or purchase agreement within 8 months of project start
- Design of community resource hub approved by BOD within 12 months of project start
- Remodel of the facilities for within 18 months of project start
- Open house and open for business launch within 2 years of project start
The Executive Director should possess:
- Experience in leading a project through implementation
- Experience in negotiating and administering contracts
- Ability to manage a variety of stakeholders and gain alignment
- Strong leadership presence and ability to rally the stakeholders around project needs and deadlines
- Ability to manage many moving parts
- Excellent communication skills
- Community service mindset
Salary: Negotiable
