Girls to Women Mentoring Hawai’i is a 501(3)(c) non-profit organization with a mission to offer meaningful connections and skills for adolescents that build empowerment, resilience, self-esteem, and healthy relationships. We provide this through circles facilitated by trained adult mentors in schools, after-school programs, and communities in Hawai’i.
Our programming is grounded in a foundation of evidence-based experiential learning. In our circle participants have the opportunity to develop skills and discover resources within themselves and the indigenous culture/environment around them. We aim to increase capacity to help Puna girls grow resilience, relationship-building skills, and confidence.
